Effects of Moderate Altitude Training Combined with Moderate or High-altitude Residence

Both moderate altitude training and living at moderate altitude with nocturnal hypoxic exposure improved cross-country skiers' performance. Minor physiological differences were noted, but overall exercise performance modulation was comparable between the two altitude training modalities.
