  • Ethics training correlated with perceived importance of ethics review (p=0.031) and EQF Level 6 training (p=0.038). Regional variations in training were observed (p<0.001). Time to ethics approval was the primary challenge.

Conclusions:

  • Integrate research ethics education early and universally in radiography curricula.
  • Simplify and streamline research ethics committee application and approval processes.
