Abstract:
The subject deals with the jurisdiction of the German civil and criminal law in problems arising during the preparation and carrying out of an intraocular operation. In particular, the extent of information the patient should receive before an operation is dealt with. The medical measures taken pre- and postoperatively also play a legally relevant role which is referred to on the grounds of the verdict.
