    Summary

    Total uvulectomy, involving partial excision of the musculus uvulae, showed no significant impact on velopharyngeal function in adults with normal palates. This study suggests the musculus uvulae may not be critical for velopharyngeal closure in this population.

    Purpose of the Study:
