  • The patient was referred to a pharmacogenomics service to exclude medication-related causes.
  • No pharmacologic or PGx etiology was identified for the tremor.

Findings:

  • The absence of a pharmacologic cause supported a diagnosis of conversion disorder.
  • This case demonstrates the utility of pharmacist-led services in diagnostic processes.

Implications:

  • Clinical pharmacists can collaborate with other specialists (psychiatrists, neurologists) to aid in diagnosis.
  • Pharmacists can add value by identifying non-drug-related conditions.
  • Integrating diagnostic support into pharmacy services can enhance patient care and treatment outcomes.
