A novel optical sensor using amino-functionalized carbon quantum dots and silver nanoparticles offers sensitive and selective chlorophyll detection. This localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) sensor shows high sensitivity and minimal interference, making it suitable for ocean monitoring.
