Skin Cancer

Skin cancer is a type of cancer that occurs when there is an abnormal growth of skin cells, usually triggered by damage to the DNA within the skin cells. It is primarily caused by exposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation from the sun or artificial sources like tanning beds. Summary

Primary skin leiomyosarcomas are rare tumors. This case highlights a foreskin leiomyosarcoma requiring wide surgical excision and emphasizing immunohistochemistry for accurate diagnosis and prognosis.

Background:

Primary skin leiomyosarcomas are infrequent neoplasms, accounting for 2-3% of all skin sarcomas.
These tumors most commonly occur on the lower extremities, trunk, and genitals.
