Summary

Higher omega-3 fatty acid levels, particularly docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), are linked to improved corneal nerve fiber length (CNFL). This suggests omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs) may positively impact corneal nerve structure.
