[Peculiarities of ulcerative colitis in advanced age]

The problem of this disease in old age is commented on, starting from 145 patients attended at hospital or an outpatients' department who suffered from ulcerative colitis verified endoscopically, histologically and radiologically over the period from 1965 to 1985.
