Summary

Multiband multiecho (MBME) echo-planar imaging (EPI) shows improved sensitivity for task functional MRI (fMRI) compared to standard multiband EPI. MBME excels in motor and medial frontal cortices, especially with contrast-to-noise ratio weighted echo combination.
