[Radioprotective effectiveness of bone marrow exfusion in guinea pigs]

In experiments on guinea pigs a pronounced radioprotective effectiveness of the procedure of bone marrow exfusion from shin-bone was demonstrated. The procedure was performed on animals narcotized by Nembutal 1-1.5 h before or 0.5-2 h after irradiation with doses ranging from midlethal to minimum absolutely lethal ones. The effectiveness of the procedure was associated with the season.
