A Therapy-Terminating Event: Programmed Death-1 Inhibitor-Induced Mucositis

Programmed death-1 (PD-1) immunotherapy can cause severe oral mucositis. Systemic glucocorticoids effectively treated this condition in three elderly cancer patients, allowing them to continue immunotherapy.
