A new, cost-effective anthropomorphic head phantom using tissue-equivalent materials (TEMs) was developed for quantitative image quality assessment in cone beam computed tomography (CBCT). This phantom enables accurate evaluation of CBCT systems with novel materials suitable for 3D printing.
