  • A 76-year-old male presented with dysphagia, epigastric pain, weight loss, and low-grade fever.
  • Initial gastroscopy and biopsies were inconclusive for malignancy.
  • CT scan revealed a large esophageal tumor with local invasion but no distant metastases.

  • Flow cytometry confirmed extranodal DLBCL with CD10 expression.
  • The patient received R-CHOP chemotherapy (Rituximab, cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine, prednisone).

  • This case underscores the importance of advanced diagnostic techniques like flow cytometry for rare esophageal lymphomas.
  • Prompt initiation of chemotherapy is vital for improving outcomes in esophageal DLBCL.
