Oats Lower Age-Related Systemic Chronic Inflammation (iAge) in Adults at Risk for Cardiovascular Disease

Oat products containing beta-glucan may reduce systemic chronic inflammation (SCI) and improve Inflammatory Age® (iAge®), a marker for healthy aging. This suggests oats have a novel anti-inflammatory role for preventative medicine.
