Computed tomography to replace invasive coronary angiography? The DISCHARGE trial

Coronary computed tomographic angiography (CTA) showed no difference compared to invasive coronary angiography (ICA) for diagnosing coronary artery disease (CAD) in stable patients. CTA remains useful for ruling out disease but not yet replacing ICA for documented lesions.
