Expression of Intermediate Filaments in the Developing Testis and Testicular Germ Cell Cancer

Desmin expression in Sertoli cells does not change with testicular germ cell cancer (TGCC) progression. Cytokeratin, however, indicates impaired Sertoli cell maturation in TGCC development.
