MMP-9/BDNF ratio predicts more severe COVID-19 outcomes

The MMP-9/BDNF ratio may help predict COVID-19 severity. This study found lower MMP-9/BDNF levels in severe cases, suggesting its potential as a diagnostic marker for disease staging.
