Summary

Transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) improves left ventricular (LV) function and global longitudinal strain (GLS), particularly in patients with baseline LV dysfunction. Both Edwards S3 and Evolut R valves showed similar LV functional improvements, though Evolut R had more aortic regurgitation.
