Abstract:
Dental implants may require attached tissue to prevent peri-mucositis or peri-implantitis. When there is a lack of attached tissue at the mandibular lingual aspect of dental implants, a free gingival graft may be done after careful consideration of nearby anatomical structures. An acryl stent can be used to protect the site from oral functioning.
