A New Approach Using the SYBR Green-Based Real-Time PCR Method for Detection of Soft Rot Pectobacterium odoriferum

A new diagnostic method was developed to specifically detect Pectobacterium odoriferum, the cause of Kimchi cabbage soft rot. This rapid and accurate technique allows for continuous monitoring of the disease in plants without DNA extraction.
