Neck Strength Evaluated With Fixed and Portable Dynamometers in Asymptomatic Individuals: Correlation, Concurrent

Fixed and portable dynamometers show moderate to high correlation for neck strength but do not agree on measurements. For consistent neck strength assessment, always use the same dynamometer equipment.

- While fixed and portable dynamometers show good correlation and validity for cervical isometric force, they do not provide interchangeable measurements.
- Due to significant discrepancies, it is recommended to consistently use the same type of dynamometer for serial reassessments of neck strength.
