Summary

Children with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) show deficits in auditory spatial selective attention, evidenced by an absent N2 anterior contralateral component (N2ac) electroencephalography response. This neurophysiologic difference impacts attention and reaction times.
