The Temporal Voice Areas are not "just" Speech Areas

The Temporal Voice Areas (TVAs) show stronger responses to speech than non-speech vocal sounds due to temporal modulations. However, these areas are not exclusively for speech and do not activate distinct regions, supporting the continued use of the name Temporal Voice Areas.
