Summary

Malignancy-associated erythroderma (MAE) occurred in 5.4% of patients, with a higher prevalence of 7.8% in those over 65. Systematic screening for malignancy in elderly erythroderma patients is recommended due to potential adverse outcomes from delayed diagnosis.
