This study found no significant link between preoperative urinary biomarkers and postoperative overactive bladder (OAB) symptoms in women undergoing pelvic organ prolapse (POP) surgery. Biomarker levels did not predict OAB symptom improvement after POP repair.

- Urinary biomarkers for tissue remodeling, inflammation, and neuroinflammation are not significantly correlated with OAB symptoms in women with POP.
- These biomarkers may not be useful for predicting OAB symptom outcomes after POP surgery.
