Isolated nodular strokes rarely cause acute dizziness. This study found that the angular vestibulo-ocular reflex (aVOR) remains normal in patients with these rare strokes, despite other observed neurological deficits.

- Widespread deficits in ocular stability, postural control, and volitional eye movements were observed, consistent with prior research.
