Summary

Transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP) remains the most common surgery for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in the US, despite newer options. Prostatic urethral lift (PUL) has seen rapid adoption, while holmium laser enucleation of the prostate (HoLEP) remains a minority option.
