Tracheal Mirror Image Artifact in Patients With Normal and Pathologic Tracheas

Tracheal ultrasound (US) can show artifacts that mimic pathology. The air column, not cartilage, causes these tracheal mirror image artifacts (TMIAs), which are common in normal and abnormal tracheas.
