Operative Management of Acute Appendicitis Was Safe During the COVID-19 Pandemic Shutdown

During the COVID-19 pandemic, fewer patients presented with appendicitis in NYC hospitals. Those who did present during the peak COVID-19 outbreak received safe operative management without increased length of stay or complications.
