Purpose of the Study:

  • A multicenter retrospective chart review included 216 subjects with uveitis undergoing cataract surgery.
  • Prediction error was calculated and analyzed for associations with demographic and clinical characteristics using regression analysis.

  • 39.8% of eyes deviated from the intended refractive target by at least 0.5 diopters (D).

  • Eyes undergoing uveitic cataract surgery showed a higher percentage of refractive target deviation compared to normal subjects.
  • Younger age, preoperative corneal inflammation, and reduced postoperative visual acuity are key factors influencing refractive outcomes in uveitic cataract surgery.
