Economic Burden and Patient-Reported Outcomes of Nonalcoholic Fatty Liver Disease

In addition to adverse clinical outcomes such as liver-related morbidity and mortality, nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is associated with a substantial public health and economic burden and could also potentially impair health-related quality of life and other patient-reported outcomes.
