Background:

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic autoimmune disease characterized by joint inflammation.
Effective disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (DMARDs) are crucial for managing RA progression and symptoms.

Purpose of the Study:

To evaluate the efficacy and safety of pyrithioxine in patients with rheumatoid arthritis.
To assess the impact of pyrithioxine on key clinical and laboratory parameters of RA.

Main Methods:

Literature review synthesizing data on pyrithioxine's effects in RA patients.
Analysis of treatment outcomes based on articular index, morning stiffness duration, and erythrocyte sedimentation rate.
Evaluation of treatment success defined by a 50% reduction in at least two of three key parameters.
