[Status and improvement in expert evaluation of temporary disability conducted by the therapeutic service]

The sociological approach was applied to study the organization and status of the expert medical evaluation of temporary disability of the therapeutic patients. 205 internists filled in self-administered questionnaires. 45.4% of those internists worked at the rural treatment and prophylactic institutions. The studies formed the basis for the development and introduction of a complex of scientifically validated measures aimed at further raising the standards of the expert medical evaluation of the working capacity at the medical institutions of the Lvov region of the Ukrainian SSR.
