[Biospecific electrophoresis--a new method for the study of glycosaminoglycans]
Abstract:
Electrophoretic precipitation of complexes containing glycoseaminoglycans and group-specific precipitinogens (cetyl pyridinium chloride, cetyl trimethylammonium bromide, rivanol) is described. Promising application of the method as well as its dissimilarities as compared with the other types of biospecific electrophoresis (immunoelectrophoresis and affinity electrophoresis involving lectins) are discussed.
