The trait creativity of midwifery students requires investigation.

Purpose of the Study:

To assess trait creativity among midwives in Taizhou, China.
To identify specific dimensions of creativity that may differ in midwifery students.

Main Methods:

A cross-sectional online survey was administered to 300 midwives.
The Williams Creativity Assessment Packet was used to measure trait creativity.

Main Results:

Significant differences in imagination and risk-taking dimensions were observed across major groups.
Midwifery students demonstrated lower scores specifically in the imagination dimension compared to other groups.
