Open Angle Glaucoma: Treatment

In open-angle glaucoma, the iridocorneal angle remains open, but the trabecular meshwork becomes stiff, slowing down the outflow of aqueous humor. This causes a buildup of aqueous humor in the anterior chamber, leading to a sudden increase in intraocular pressure. Summary

Atypical torpedo lesions in the retina are rare. This case series describes unusual presentations, including the first inferiorly oriented lesion and double-torpedo lesions, enhancing understanding of these rare retinal findings.

Background:

Torpedo lesions are rare retinal findings with unclear clinical significance.

This case series presents patients with atypical torpedo lesions.
Variations in lesion orientation and pigmentation patterns were observed.
Includes the first documented inferiorly oriented torpedo lesion and rare double-torpedo lesions.
