Postural behaviour of intraocular pressure in diabetics

The response to posture of intraocular pressure (IOP) was studied in 58 normal and 60 diabetic eyes. A significant postural rise of IOP was found in the diabetic patients. The clinical relevance of the abnormality in pressure regulation in diabetics is discussed. Its implications for other closely associated disorders are emphasized.
