Does Headgear Prevent Sport-Related Concussion? A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis of Randomized Controlled Trials

Headgear (HG) does not prevent sport-related concussions (SRC) in soccer and rugby. This meta-analysis found no reduction in SRC rates with HG use, questioning its effectiveness in these sports.
