Turmeric, Pepper, Cinnamon, and Saffron Consumption and Mortality

Consuming turmeric or saffron may lower the risk of death from all causes and cardiovascular disease. This study investigated spice consumption and mortality in Iranian adults, finding protective effects for turmeric and saffron. Further research is recommended.
