Core body temperature changes before sleep are associated with nocturnal heart rate variability

Core body temperature (CBT) decline before sleep is linked to better sleep quality. Slower CBT reduction in poor sleepers correlated with higher heart rate and reduced heart rate variability (HRV) during sleep.
