Type IV Hypersensitivity Reaction after Cyanoacrylate Venous Closure

The incidence of type IV hypersensitivity (T4H) reactions after cyanoacrylate vein closure is 10%. Younger age, active smoking, and advanced CEAP classifications (3 and 4) are risk factors for developing T4H.
