Is Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy a Treatment Option for Renal Colic?

Rapid extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (SWL) effectively relieved renal colic pain in 81% of patients. This study shows SWL is a safe and efficient treatment for kidney stone pain management.
