Abstract:
NHC-stabilized iminoborane 4 was prepared and structurally characterized via the reduction of a cationic iminoborane with potassium graphite. Compound 4 could be served as a supporting ligand for the synthesis of both main group and transition metal complexes through variable coordination modes. This study demonstrates the rich coordination chemistry of the Lewis base-stabilized iminoborane.
