[Current state of sympathectomy in peripheral reconstructive surgery]

Sympathectomy combined with vascular bypass surgery can improve patient outcomes, particularly for those under 70 without diabetes and with adequate ankle perfusion. This procedure shows greater benefit in earlier disease stages (II-III) than advanced stages (IV).
