Abstract:
Educators need to prepare their students to meet the challenges of the information age. This article discusses the effects of the information age upon the field of biomedical communications, specifically the application of computer information networks to the dissemination of medical information. Emphasis is placed upon preparing our students for careers utilizing communications technology.
