Lymphomas of the submandibular gland are rare. Low-grade B cell lymphomas, such as MALT lymphoma, are most common, but aggressive subtypes like diffuse large B cell lymphoma can also occur.

Conclusions:
- Low-grade B cell lymphomas are the predominant type in the submandibular gland.
- Aggressive subtypes, including DLBCL, are rarely encountered in this location.
