Misconduct in Biomedical Research: A Meta-Analysis and Systematic Review

Scientific misconduct, including plagiarism and data fabrication, is alarmingly prevalent in biomedical research. Nonself-reported studies show significantly higher rates of misconduct compared to self-reported ones.
