Viral protein nanoparticles (ViP NPs) offer safe and effective alternatives to traditional vaccines and synthetic nanoparticles. These biocompatible structures show promise in prophylaxis, diagnosis, and treatment, with several VLP- and virosome-based vaccines already authorized.
