[Plasmid-determined streptococcal resistance to antibiotics]

This study suggests that inducible resistance to erythromycin and lincomycin in bacteria, determined by plasmids, may be controlled by the same or closely linked genes. Analyzing antibiotic-sensitive mutants helped determine the genetic organization of the ERLI determinant.
